Basics
Lets begin from the string numbering.
The top string in your guitar is the 6th string, and as it
goes down it goes down 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st.
How to understand a chord chart. The string numbering is
as below.

Then you need to understand how to read the chord charts.
The
•
in the strings means that you should hold that point of the guitar. You only
press on the bolded dots.
If there is number on the horizontal bar, it shows the fret of the guitar. Fret
is the bars in the guitar.
Let's try one of the major chord
Place your fingers correctly and play each
sting and make sure all the sound is good. Then play all the strings together.
This will give the sound of the chord you are playing.

This is just the basic of how to understand the chord charts.
You have to go one by one on the other chord charts to play.
